About the Role
Our client, a well-established local government organisation based in the Armadale area, is seeking a reliable and motivated Civil Maintenance Worker to join their infrastructure and maintenance team. This role plays a key part in maintaining community assets and ensuring safe and functional public spaces for residents.
Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repairs to roads, potholes, footpaths, and kerbing
  • Assist with traffic control and implement traffic management plans during works
  • Operate and maintain civil construction and maintenance equipment
  • Install and maintain signage, barriers, and safety controls
  • Perform general labouring duties associated with civil maintenance
  • Conduct routine inspections of council infrastructure
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and council standards


About You

  • Previous experience in civil maintenance, roadworks, or construction
  • Traffic Management / Traffic Controller accreditation (desirable or willingness to obtain)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Valid driver’s licence (HR licence highly regarded)
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
